The Nick D'Angelo FunD AND SCHOLARSHIP
Nick D’Angelo was a scholar-athlete at Lake Catholic High School and John Carroll University. He was a Division III national champion wrestler, and a multi-time All-American and Academic All-American in both football and wrestling. Beyond his many accomplishmentson in the classroom, on the field, or on the mat, Nick’s true legacy was his passion for family and lifelong learning.
To honor his memory, the Nick D’Angelo Fund was established in 2022 in partnership with The Cleveland Foundation, supporting students at Lake Catholic High School that reflect Nick's values. In 2023, the D'Angelo family furthered this mission by creating the Nick A. D’Angelo ’84 Memorial Endowed Scholarship at John Carroll University, providing financial assistance to outstanding students who embody academic excellence, leadership, and service in the Jesuit tradition.
