The Nick D'Angelo FunD AND SCHOLARSHIP
Nick D’Angelo was a scholar-athlete at Lake Catholic High School and John Carroll University. He was a Division III national champion wrestler, and a multi-time All-American and Academic All-American in both football and wrestling. Beyond his many accomplishmentson in the classroom, on the field, or on the mat, Nick’s true legacy was his passion for family and lifelong learning.
To honor his memory, the Nick D’Angelo Fund was established in 2022 in partnership with The Cleveland Foundation, supporting students at Lake Catholic High School that reflect Nick's values. In 2023, the D'Angelo family furthered this mission by creating the Nick A. D’Angelo ’84 Memorial Endowed Scholarship at John Carroll University, providing financial assistance to outstanding students who embody academic excellence, leadership, and service in the Jesuit tradition.

2024 Senior Awards
The Nick D'Angelo Fund awarded a $1,000 grant to five graduating seniors at Lake Catholic High School who will be attending John Carroll University beginning in the fall of 2024. Congratulations to these deserving students!
Lake Catholic Alumni Golf Outing

The Nick D'Angelo Fund made a contribution to the 2023 Lake Catholic High School alumni golf outing, sponsoring a hole during the outing in Nick's honor.
Annual Senior Grants
(May 2023)
The Nick D'Angelo Fund identified six graduating seniors at Lake Catholic High School who will be attending John Carroll University beginning in the fall of 2023. We were able to make a $1,000 contribution to each of these deserving students' first year of tuition.
Lake Catholic Class Challenge

The Nick D'Angelo Fund contributed a $500 donation to the Lake Catholic High School class challenge.
